Review of Crimson Tide (1995) by Mega M — 27 Sep 2008
Why is it Ridely Scott gets all the credit and his brother Tony gets very little? Ridely even got a knighthood!? Tony Scott is a far more entertaining director, who gives the audience exactly what they want and Crimson Tide is a fine example great cinema.
Two excellent performances from Hackman and Washington and Scotts sharp direction keep you on the edge of the seat; almost the entire film is set in a sub and YOUR down their with them.
