Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Tristan H — 23 Oct 2017
An absolute visual treat - you can tell there's an endless well of depth to be gained just by looking at how much effort was put into the aesthetic and subliminal nature of the movie's backgrounds (like a dark and surreal painting that tells no story, but you can't help but stare at and absorb the detail of for hours).
.. but as for the actual plot and purpose itself? - I'm not sure of the overall point of anything. Definitely worth the experience of watching... but don't expect even the mildest of purposeful revelations.
