Beautiful scenes and settings, immaculate costume design, wonderful acting, intensely suspenseful, and even gruesome in a few places. It's not related, but I kept thinking of Bram Stoker's Dracula and Interview with the Vampire while watching.
Love the gothic horror theme. The plot had some twists and turns and the ending was surprising and satisfying, like a good meal.
