Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Pete W — 04 Jul 2007
A pitch-perfect blend of comedy and drama; Landau's Raskolnik has real depth and provides one of the better film treatments of faith, doubt, and their moral outcroppings. The plot line around Allen's character is a great counterpoint.
