Review of Creep (2014) by Ryan J — 23 Sep 2016
Aaron finds a job online to film a guy for a day for $1,000. When he arrives at a cabin in the woods to meet Josef, who tells him that he wants to make a video for his son as he is dying from cancer and will not see be there for his son. Josef is a nice, but strange guy and as everything goes smoothly. As the day grows longer things start unravelling and Josef just might not be the guy who he originally says he is.
This film is an interesting watch, Duplass is great as Josef. It's a slow burner, even at 80 minutes it feels a little too long as there is not much going on. Well acted and a little disturbing. This was released exclusively to Netflix, if you have it, find it and give it a go.
