Review of Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011) by Nathan L — 26 Aug 2012
With a star studded cast, I had high expectations for Crazy, Stupid, Love (I'll call it CSL for simplicity). CSL hits the ground running from the first scene to setup an awkward and hilarious movie.
All the actors and actresses fit into their roles seamlessly and all eventually become lovable characters if not already lovable out of the gate. Strong characters and relationships are the most strength of CSL and it does it well.
Unlike most romantic comedies, the events and outcomes aren't cliche and aren't quiet as painful to watch. Overall, CSL is a fun and clever romantic comedy with a talented cast and enjoyable story.
