Review of Crazy Rich Asians (2018) by Davidnb — 18 Aug 2018

This is nothing but just another run-of-the-mill engagement party rom-com. The fact that this is the first all asian cast in a quarter century makes that fact even more egregious. Also, the only gay character is presented as an asian over the top fop, so, so much for breaking down stereotypes. If this movie had an all white cast it would have been panned by the critics.

Oh, and let me place my Razzie vote for Henery Golding for the worst performance by a leading man.

The more I think about it, the more I hate it.
