In a time of movie unoriginality where every new movie seems to be a reboot or remake; Crazy Rich Asians is an original idea brought together with a great cast and a solid script. It tells a story that even an average viewer with no real connection to Asian culture can understand and easily sympathize with the characters that you will love/hate within in just a short amount of time on screen due to the amazing character development.

The premise is a simple one. Rich guy falls for a simple middle-class working girl and takes home to his family that doesn't accept her.
