Very dismal movie. No happy endings here. The movie reminded me of a bad soap opera or a lifetime movie. Everybody's sleeping with everbody and nobody seems to care. Gwenyth is a raging alcoholic but they never really elaborate on what led up to her downfall.
I didn't really buy her performance as a washed up troubled country star, but I did overall appreciate the country music in the movie. Leighton Meester had a suprisingly good voice and I enjoyed Garrett Hedlund Tim McGraw needs to stick to singing.
His performance in this movie was weak. The music is the only thing that kept me from giving the movie 1 star.
