Review of Country Strong (2010) by Blaze 8 — 13 Apr 2013
I played this film through LoveFilm Instant as something to watch while I was doing the ironing and although the music was good and I loved Tim McGraw's beard I didn't believe in the characters and they didn't have any chemistry.
Garrett Hedland was very good though, especially as he didn't have much to work with with the script and character arc. I didn't watch the last 20 minutes, in the end I gave up on it.
