Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester are a joy to watch in this. This movie is worth seeing just for their performances and the songs they sing. Gwyneth shows she can still act (although it would have been nice if she didn't have to cry in EVERY single scene she was in) and Tim McGraw is quite good as her husband and manager.

With not much of a story and a conventional one at that, the performances are what really stand out here, especially Hedlund's, who steals every scene of the movie he's in.
