Review of Cosmopolis (2012) by Will C — 07 Sep 2012

I'd heard about this a while ago, and heard the premise and heard that Cronenberg was directing, so I thought it sounded interesting enough. It really wasn't, though. It was a full length movie of Palahniuk-esque dialogue and nothing of interest happening outside of said dialogue, except for like 2 scenes within the last 20 minutes which didn't even really make much sense given the context.

Pattinson turned out a good enough performance, but he didn't seem to really go above and beyond what he was given to work with. Overall, it's definitely the least interesting Cronenberg film I've ever seen, which is weird for me to say considering his films are usually the definition of "interesting".
