Review of Cosmopolis (2012) by Paul C — 26 Oct 2015
At first I thought Cronenberg's cool dystopian film about a financial currency speculator was going into the realm of Darren Aranoffsky's "Pi." Unfortunately, no such luck. Some gobbledygook about money taking over time and yards, yada, yada, Twilight's Patterson is about to have his brains blown out by a down on his luck, confused and bitter Paul Giamatti, who plays the calm but well.
Ah, David Cronenenberg, no more Gynological instruments for mutant women, like in the good old days? A notch above mere pretentious.
