Review of Coraline (2009) by Davidm. — 28 Feb 2009
A true labour of love, which bore gorgeous fruit, visually and stylistically. Not likely to appeal to a crowd looking for singing fish and dancing zebras. Why anyone would expect this to be a Disneyesque, inane sunshine and lolipops venture for a SMALL child and then complain after the fact is a bit of a mystery.
It is INTENDED to be dark and yes, disturbing.
