Review of Copycat (1995) by K D — 10 Aug 2007
The plot is good, the acting is good, the direction is somewhat good also. The thing I didn't like was the slow pace and the not so shocking scenes of the murders. The suspense was almost zero and the thriller factor was almost absent.
Whenever I watch a movie about a serial killer, I expect it to compel me to crawl under the chair and hide. That was not the case here. Nonetheless, I think you won't waste your time whether you choose to watch it.
The screenplay and the acting are worth the shot. Also, the unveiling of the serial killers' modus operandi is quite interesting to follow.
