Review of Conviction (2010) by Desmond H — 24 Feb 2011
This movie was probably on of the best movies that I have ever seen. The amount of Loyalty, Emotion and Love involved in this movie is so intense. And to know that this is a true story only makes it more heartrending. This also tells us something about how most justice systems are flawed. One can't even imagine what it is like to spend a whole life behind bars for something that you didn't do. You do lose hope when the system turns against you.
But the positive thing that can be learnt from this is that if you really try hard you can achieve anything.
Hillary Swank has shown again what a fine actor she is. But the credit must go to Sam Rockwell. His performance in this movie is outstanding. He really did justice to this demanding role which required him to portray a range of emotions throughout the movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone and everyone who needs some motivation and inspiration in life, if something is not working out as it is supposed to be. Watch this movie and be inspired.
