Review of Conviction (2010) by Brendan R — 08 Apr 2014
(59%).
A worthy story well told, that really does asks questions about truth and justice, and how it can be manipulated for the gains of others. The cast is rock solid, with a stand-out, yet slight in terms of screen time performance from Juliette Lewis, as the strong performances in general stop this becoming too televisual which could have hampered a movie of this type. Overall it's a well-made, interesting and realistic look at US justice.
