Review of Conviction (2010) by Marla N — 05 Oct 2011
This is an AMAZING true story that just captures your heart & shows what one woman went through in order to free her innocent brother. The film starts off a little slow & flashes from one time frame to another in the Water siblings life that it's hard to keep up at first.
.but once Betty Ann Waters becomes a lawyer & starts finding out the truth about her brother's trial, things get intense and nerve-racking. The acting is decent--prob'ly due to the fact they were portraying actual living people.
I just find the whole story heart-melting & wonderful. Kenny Water's sister spent almost 20 years of her life to prove her brother's innocence--that she had no doubt in all along. Overall, it's an intense drama that shows the true love of a brother & sister.
It's def worth checking out.
