I don't think this works as a masterpiece. The Fritz Lang character (played by the legendary German director) is totally wasted and you can tell that Goddard only wanted to find an excuse for showing Brigitte Bardot's perfect buttocks.
And for that reason alone I'm awarding this three stars :P.
