Review of Contempt (1963) by James R — 01 Apr 2012
Super well done movie by Jean Luc Godard. Its base on an Italian novel, but delves a bit more into references to the relationships in the Odyssey. The film is about the deteriorating relationship between a married couple where the man is rewriting the story of the Odyssey for the director Fritz Lang (played by himself!!).
I enjoyed the film even though the pacing was very slow, but the music and cinematography were top knotch. If your a movie buff definitely. Check this one out!
