Review of Conspiracy Theory (1997) by Brad G — 28 Jan 2010
Despite having a rather weak conspiracy at the center of this Conspiracy Theory, the film survives on the odd pairing of Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. Yep, itâ??s quite uncomfortable at first, watching Gibsonâ??s psychotic nutter woo (more like stalk) Julia Roberts, but as the bad guys crawl outta the woodwork and the chase begins their awkward bond turns enjoyable.
And Patrick Stewartâ??s nose-bitten G-man is fantastically terrifying. Not a classic, but a decent thriller. VF.
