Review of Conspiracy Theory (1997) by Emily C — 11 Sep 2017
I liked Gibson's wild, semi nonsensical performance in this. His character was supposed to have been experimented on and conditioned, so I think it came off as believable. And while I'm no Julia Roberts fan, she was excellent in this.
She kept it grounded. Throw in Patrick Stewart's creepy bad guy and it works well. Only complaint is it could have been edited by about a half hour. Seemed padded.
