Review of Conspiracy Theory (1997) by Ben F — 13 Jan 2010

You know, I didn't really like this movie very much. I watched the whole thing and half the time I was very bored. Why? I'll explain. Just watched this movie, and I expected a decent performance from 3 known actors.

What was really annoying about the film, was that Mel Gibson used his Lethal Weapon personality the entire time, and that was supposed to make me believe that he is semi-crazy. Julia Roberts literally shows no emotion the entire time.

I don't even thinks he wanted to be apart of this, so she was completely boring, and all of her lines were boring. The same thing goes for Patrick Stewart and Steve Kahn. It seemed like none of these guys wanted to do this movie, and that's what really ruined it.

The only person who was using all of his potential was Mel Gibson, and his potential is literally just spazzing. The chase scenes are well shot, but they feel ackward. The whole thing just feels like an un finished film, with actors who are only doing it for the money.

I would never see this movie again, and I didn't really enjoy myself.
