Review of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972) by Robert M — 06 May 2008

I enjoyed this one the most out of the sequels simply for its dark tone, ape enslavement and torture...its clearly moved away from the "a film for the family" to something with more depth and impact.

The film has a good story in my opinion but is too short, the apes all of a sudden become united and it would have been nice to see Ceaser persuading them into fighting and starting the revolt.
