Despite what everyone says about this film, it's still my favourite Apes film of them all. The dark atmosphere and disturbing imagery helps it to stand out from the others, which ultimately makes it stronger.
Roddy McDowall (Caesar) does an excellent job at selling his role as well, showing both the emotional side of his character, and the vengeful side perfectly. Absolutely fantastic.
