Review of Con Air (1997) by Charlotta L — 14 Jul 2010
The first installment in The Cage Unleashed trilogy. While it makes zero sense and is one of the corniest movies ever made its also one of the best action movies around.The plot never really goes beyond a bunch of convicts riding around in a plane, which is partly the charm of the movie.
I don't know who made the decision to make John Malkovich the villain, but he should be given a Oscar for it. Not only was he out of his mind, he was also very calm and collected which just adds to his mask of insanity.
