Most reviews for this film say, "guilty pleasure". This couldn't be more true. Wall-to-wall action, full of guns and blood and men acting macho, "Commando" is the prototype for '80s action movies, even more so than "Rambo", whose hero had deep psychological issues.
Here, Arnold just wants to rescue his daughter.
