Review of Commando (1985) by Yash B — 12 Aug 2018
"Commando" is monumentally silly and cheesy to such a degree that it is actually pretty entertaining. I found myself laughing at the insanely implausible situations, the silly one-liners, and the over the top action sequences.
It is a movie you have to be in the mood for as it is one that requires you to turn your brain off for an hour and a half, but it is serviceable and campy 80s fun that ultimately delivered what I expected out of this type of movie.
