Review of Collateral (2004) by Sidney S — 23 Mar 2012
A gripping crime thriller from director Michael Mann (Heat,The Insider, Public Enemies). Tom Cruise gives one of his best performance as a hitman named Vincent and Jamie Foxx is great in an oscar nominated role as Max the cab driver.
The story, a hitman gets into a cab and makes him take him to all of his "stops". Its a simple story but a story that is dark, edgy and is literally all about the character's development its great.
This film has a modern noir feel to it. Cruise is truly psychotic in his role, and purely convincing and dangerous. The film is thrilling and has a great ending and intense, edge of your seat scenes.
