Review of Cold Souls (2009) by Brandon W — 08 Sep 2009
I was caught a bit off guard because I was actually expecting a different brand of humor. It was a very deep film lightly seasoned with its funny moments, but at times seemed a bit dark, and sometimes the film itself felt a little "soul-less".
It was very original and I thought that Paul Giamatti playing himself was interesting. I think I would appreciate it more if I were to gone in without any expectations rather than thinking I was gonna get a good laugh.
