Review of Cold Souls (2009) by Robert B — 22 Aug 2012
What a wonderful, weird movie! Paul Giamatti continues to be one of my favorite unsung actors of Hollywood, tackling this quirky little film in a way that few other actors could have pulled off. In a strange way, this movie feels like the way I imagine Giamatti to be: A little dark, thought-provoking, questioning, just on this side of spiritual and very intriguing.
It reminded me both of "Stranger Than Fiction" and "Being John Malkovich.".
