Review of Cold Pursuit (2019) by Hellhoofer — 10 Apr 2016
As a fan of violent video games there should be no surprise that I would find this film entertaining. I have been following Biting Elbows for a while and when I saw the trailer for this movie I was not too excited.
The movie by far met my expectations of it with action and violent humor around every corner, and I mean every one. You (Henry) wakes up to find your wife standing over you putting a bionic arm and leg on you, not even 5 minutes after the first scene shows mercenaries break down the door of the lab and lead you on a risky escape.
Your girlfriend is then kidnapped, From there on it is non stop action violence. Every single scene in the movie leads you on another adventure to find the location of your kidnapped wife. This movie is purely exotic in the way it was filmed in a first person perspective and it creates a whole new spin on the way movies in the future could end up being filmed.
If you're a fan of obscene humor, over the top action or are just a fan of violence in general, this movie is right up your alley. I am happy to give this movie a 9/10 rating.
