A fairly entertaining revenge thriller which requires very little brain power. Liam Neeson does what he does in this kind of role and does it well enough. The Canadian locations are just fabulous and Tom Bateman makes for a very charismatic baddie.
I must say I went in expecting not to enjoy it, but it does sort of engage you even if at times the editing feels a bit slack and the pace a tad off. The violence is often offset by some delicious black humour.
On the negative side Laura Dern is just wasted.
