Review of Cold Mountain (2003) by May T — 13 Feb 2010
This movie takes place during the Civi War in Cold Mountain, North Carolina. Its how war are not only hard on the ones that fight them, but also on the loved ones they leave behind. The story is compelling, I think that it could have been filmed better, but over all okay.
..the sets and locations were flawless. Jude Law and Nichole Kidman do moderate work, not great but not bad, but Renee Zellweger gives her best performance to date here. She is funny and sweet but country!! I dont know if you can call it epic but its got its romance, drama, war, scares, and trouble, but I believe it fall a bit short to be called epic.
