Review of Code 46 (2003) by Daniel C — 18 Apr 2010
An intreguing, intelligent and highly complex sci-fi/drama that delves deep into issues surrounding memory, genetics, reproduction and human consciousness. It's pretty slow-going, and a few times I was asking myself with Tim Robbins' character, "why go through all this trouble?", but, in the end, the film really pulled me in and made me think about what it means to be human and the ways we interact, affecting each other's lives in ways that we never expect.
Really great stuff for anyone wanting a film for the mind.
