Review of Cocaine Bear (2023) by Zmgalen2000 — 10 Mar 2023

Cocaine Bear undoubtedly has its moments of hilarity and absurdity, but there just are not nearly enough of them to live up to the image it presents itself as. Throughout the film’s 90 minute runtime, we see an ungodly amount of characters introduced just to be killed off, making it difficult to concentrate on any of the several storylines or figure out what the main one is.

This leads to a general ambivalence towards the characters, with muddled performances supplemented by mediocre writing.
