This is fun action film that is the very epitome of the 80s. The story takes a back seat to the action, but who would want it any other way? The plot never does make sense. Why would an entire army of people be so loyal to a caveman of a killer that they'd chase across the state to knock off one witness? I don't buy it.
Stallone, on the other hand, manages to make Cobra one of the most bad ass cops since James Cagney. He also gets enough one-lines to make any hero green with jealously.
