Review of Cloverfield (2008) by Nathan M — 05 Aug 2013
The best thriller in a long while. I was on the edge of my seat with goosebumps nearly the whole time. This film succeeded in all the places I am Legend failed. It has good CGI, innovative handheld style, and a script that is intentionally funny at times.
More tasteful product placement underlined how this film was lemon fresh to I am Legend's banana peel stale. Now, I will not give any more details.
