Boring with terrible cgi monsters even for 2008, 1980s had better cg than 2008. The Camera angle in this movie was terrible but it's supposed to be held by a guy that's in this disaster. The acting is terrible because when the big spider thing went in front of the main characters of this movie, the people were trying to be scared but how they acted was in a cheesy stupid way.
The people should have died when they encountered the spider monster because that's what happens in the prequel cloverfield movie but all because they're the main characters. And weres the suspense or tension like the prequel cloverfield movie.
How this movie has tension is terrible because they're just like a normal gang of generic horror squad but no horror because there's no " oh my god I'm super scared that their going to die.
