Review of Cloverfield (2008) by Austin J — 15 Feb 2013
You just have to see it. The movie does exactly what it has set out to do. This is Godzilla from the standpoint of a normal human being.
If the movie has a real problem, it's that it does its job too well. There's a reason Godzilla's never about the normal people--they're human. These people are very, very human. And it's scary to see a real person die.
