Review of Clockers (1995) by Trent J — 19 Jun 2009
Solid work and a thoughtful commentary on a person's - any person's - influence: how powerful that can be, knowing how to use it, and the inadvertent chain reaction you can set off in a high-pressure situation.
What's truly impressive is the use of Strike: essentially a reactive, weak protagonist, yet compelling all the same - a monumental task to pull off, yet our storytellers make it look easy.
