The movie is utterly ridiculous, which gives it a certain charm. Martin Short's character reminds you of a more evil version of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, and his interactions with Charles Grodin are hilarious.
Unfortunately, the climax of the film is ironically quite dull and the special effects are hard to watch during the scene.
