Review of Clifford (1994) by Bill S — 05 Mar 2015
Martin Short is definitely better than the talentless brat from the "Problem Child" movies, but unfortunately Short seems to want to outdo Junior in the "most obnoxious child in cinema history" department.
He almost succeeds. I give this otherwise disposable piece of garbage a single star because, (spoiler alert!) Clifford sees the error of his ways and becomes a better person. In fact, the movie starts off with him as a priest warning another destructive little monster about the path he's taken and warns him against doing the same.
What? There's actually a moral to this story? Wow. Did not see that coming. Doesn't forgive the rest of the movie, but makes it 1 star better than any "Problem Child" movie.
