I should have watched this first before watching the remake..or is should have waited a few more months before watching it. as it is, it didn't really make an impact on me. aside from detachedly noting the differences between the plot of the remake and the original, as well as marveling how young maggie smith and harry hamlin looked (they're the only ones I know from this movie because this was shown a year before I was born), it was ok.

..come to think of it of course, the clay-mation was a revolution in that time and you'd have to say, "wow, their effects was already this good"..aside from that? it was ok...
