I'm quite sad to report that this is a big step down for Chow. It's got heart and some great Chow-esque situations, but overall the poop gags and poor choices the characters made lost me. The overly forced drama and child and pet beating don't play well to my U.
S. sensibilities anyway. This one wasn't bad, but was a shame considering where it came from.
