Review of City of God (2002) by Yousif B — 09 Aug 2012
Magnificent! Cross breed Slum Dog Millionaire with Blood Diamond, and add in Pulp fiction's time travel to get The City of God. A ravishing screen adaptation to Brazil's drug war, through the eyes of an aspiring photo journalist.
Add to that absolutely outstanding direction by Fernando and Lund. This film's cinematography, artistic frames, and capturing angles make it the epitome the of best director Academy Award. Undoubtedly and unquestionably, a motion picture masterpiece.
