Review of City of God (2002) by Jeff M — 27 Jul 2014
Raw, utterly realistic depiction of youth on the streets of Ciudad de Deus, home to some of the most notoriously dangerous slums in Rio makes for an absorbing tale of crime and survival in South America.
Ultraviolet story hasn't an insincere moment among its abundant atmosphere and tender performances and visceral action.
