Review of City Lights (1931) by Kyle V — 25 Sep 2008
Walking into this thinking I knew what to expect from a Charlie Chaplin was probably a good idea on my part, because this film exceeded my expectations and shed new light on what a Chaplin film consisted of.
Full of off the wall humor and sentimentality, City Lights is heartfelt at it's core, with great humorous scenes the entire way through. This film has definitely got me interested in some more of Charlie Chaplin's film and I can't wait to watch another one.
