Review of City Island (2009) by Alan G — 08 May 2010
Because this film was labeled as a comedy I expected more laughter. As a dramedy, however, it was very effective. The dysfunctional family has been overdone it seems, but with clever timing, a story that keeps you interested, and some good acting, City Island is a cruel pleasure to watch.
