2 hong kong love stories. wong kar wai does an incredible job at telling a stylistic story. the camera moves expertly and gives us some really great images. and the characters are interesting. its the kind of movie that occupies very specific parts of your mind for a long time afterward.

I have to attribute a good portion of that to the music selection that is played over certain scenes, most notably california dreamin, what a difference a day makes, and that song originally sung by the cranberries.

ill never see a can of pineapples the same way.
